Ogo practices mainly in the areas of family law, real estate, immigration law and privacy law. Her goal is to provide quality and prompt service to her clients.
Ogo was called to the Manitoba Bar in April 2018 and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional in Canada (CIPP/C). She volunteered at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights (CMHR) Winnipeg from its inauguration in August 2014 until 2017.
Before immigrating to Manitoba, Ogo obtained her Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL. B) from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Nigeria; and her Masters’ Degrees in Law (LL.M) from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Nigeria and Georgetown University Law Centre Washington D.C, U.S.A respectively.
She is a Fellow Women’s Law and Public Policy Fellowship Program (WLPPFP); and Leadership and Advocacy for Women in Africa Fellowship Program (LAWA) Georgetown University Law Centre Washington D.C, U.S.A.
She was called to the Nigerian Bar in January 2001, and she practiced Law for 13 years in that jurisdiction as a Barrister & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria with a focus in family law, real estate, corporate and not-for-profits, civil and human rights litigation, and women’s human rights advocacy.
She was a Law Teacher/Facilitator at the National Open University of Nigeria (Enugu Study Centre) where she taught Environmental Law, Human Rights Law and Intellectual Property Law. She was actively involved in human rights education in schools and communities in Southeast Nigeria.
Outside the Office, Ogo enjoys spending time with her family.
